Aloe vera is a succulent plant species of the genus Aloe that originates from the Arabian Peninsula and grows wild in tropical, semi-tropical, and arid climates around the world. It can thrive well indoors in small or medium sized pots. According to a study, its gel improves acne and reduces pain from burns. It is maintained with bright, indirect sunlight or artificial light and infrequent watering (allow the soil to dry out completely before watering).
